I am so happy Anita and Sara have invented this fantastic machine. With the economy downfall – budgeting is important and it is a must for me to fit in my threading. Since I’ve purchased the “Threader” it has saved me tons of money and now I can keep up my threading in the comforts of my own home.

I typically have a very sensitive face, and I think whether you wax or thread you will end up with a few little red spots on your face from the pull of whatever method you use to pull hair from your face or body. Since I have been using the threader and lotions provided in the kit, my face has no sign of red after the threading because of the great lotion provided called “Close Pores”, which you use after threading and frequent with less hair.  The results are great now I have a glowing face and my makeup applies better and lasts longer.

So... the product...
LOVE IT!

I looked over the directions really quickly - mostly to see how to assemble the threads (i.e. which one went on which arm) but I didn't really read them, just to see if I could figure it out on my own. It was easy and I got it right away.

It took me about 5 minutes of playing around with the threader to really get the hang of the way it works. This was probably good b/c the numbing lotion took a little longer than 1-2 minutes to really kick in. (I think you told me this before - that the longer you can wait the better but the minimum is 1-2 minutes.) When the lotion kicked in, though, I really noticed a reduction in the 'sting'. I tried a few different techniques and placements of the threader on my face before I figured out how to address the different types of hair - fine vs. coarse. After playing around a bit I got very good at it.

Here are the things that I discovered:

• The threads really "polish" the skin like you say - it's really a significant difference in texture. I really felt like the dead skin cells had been removed with the fine hairs and my face felt much smoother
• I had to try several times to grab a few of  the coarse hairs with the Threader. Probably easier to just get these with the tweezers before hand
• The numbing lotion is really good! But it needs about 5-8 minutes to really kick in.
